Understanding Depression and Anxiety
Depression and anxiety can easily interfere with emotional, physical, and behavioral functioning. It’s common to feel confused about the inner workings of depression and anxiety, which can often intensify our symptoms and leave us feeling helpless and hopeless. Join us for an evening of education to help understand depression and anxiety. We will focus on learning about symptoms, identifying triggers, and exploring effective coping skills for improved mental health. Beneficial for anyone who wants to build insight into their depression and anxiety, learn about helpful treatment modalities, or learn how to better support a loved one.
This event will be facilitated by Kate McReynolds, owner of Root To Rise Counseling. Kate is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Yoga Teacher, and a Perinatal/Maternal Mental Health Clinician. She believes that you have an innate ability to create a shift in your mental health, and you may just need someone to help you discover it, strengthen it, and work through the shift with you. She understands the deep impact that mental health concerns can have on a person’s life and she is eager to help you bring a sense of calm, contentment, and control back into yours.
